This project explores storytelling and publication design while synthesizing conceptual thinking, image-making, and Adobe Creative Suite software skills. This project utilizes Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and the tactics of simplification, layout, hierarchy, typography, and storytelling. This project is about my grandparents and my relationship with them since they were a huge part of my life and instilled in me virtues of family and pride which is what makes this project a personal favorite of mine. Some of the imagery such as the bus represent things such as where my grandpa worked after moving to America, or the lemon tree and yellow canaries which were two things that my grandma loved and cared for.
